Marijke Schröer from the Netherlands completes the quartet with the alto saxophone. She likes virtuoso passages in fast tempi and is the quartet’s spokeswoman. Besides she works as a programmer at the Grachtenfestival Amsterdam and is the artistic director of Uitgast Festival. She also appears on stage as a member of Noota, Saxyon and the Nederlands Saxofoon Octet.
